Pierce Brosnan has been announced for a new action movie alongside martial arts legend Jackie Chan.
The film will see Chan play a restaurateur in London’s Chinatown, who turns to criminality after his daughter is killed by a group of Irish terrorists.
The Navan native will play government official and former IRA member Liam Hennessy.

According to The Wrap, the Martin Campbell will direct the pair in the currently untitled thriller.
Earlier this week, the former Bond actor hit headlines after he said the most recent James Bond film, Spectre too long.
“The story was kind of weak – it could have been condensed. It kind of went on too long. It really did,” he said.
