Well known faces stepped out for a special reception in Kiehls as they wished Temple Street Children’s Hospital Route 66er’s the best of luck ahead of this year’s Charity Cycle.

The event, held in in the Kiehls store on Wicklow Street, was held in honour of the fund raisers, ahead of their long journey across America.

Pictured at the event was RTÉ’s Blathnaid Treacy, looking stunning as always, alongside her boyfriend Charlie Mooney.

Also spotted was top fashion designer Emma Manley, while guests got the chance to pose on a real-life Harley Davidson that was on display in store.

American skincare brand Kiehl’s have armed each and every Route 66’er with bucket loads of Kiehl’s skincare products to protect them on their way.

100 motorcyclists will leather up and take on the mother of all mother roads to help raise over €250,000 for sick kids in Ireland.

Departing Dublin for Chicago, on September 22nd they will begin their 2,444 mile journey across America, riding up Sunset Boulevard 12 days later.

Since 2002 this fundraising challenge has raised over €3.5 million for sick children in Ireland as they travel through 9 states and 4 different time zones; from Illinois through Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and finally California.
