Stars including Ryan Tubridy, Hozier, Alan Hughes, Rory Cowan and Louis Walsh’s boyband Hometown have been arriving at St Stephen’s Green today for the 2fm charity radiothon.
The radiothon is in aid of St. Vincent De Paul’s Give a Gift Campaign with a live broadcast on throughout the day in Dublin.
The radio event in association with Aldi, has already seen a star studded turn out with visitors all bringing their own gifts in support of the campaign.

All of 2FM’s shows have been broadcasting live during the day, with Jennifer Maguire, Bernard O’Shea and Keith Walsh kicking off Breakfast Republic this morning.
Louis Walsh boyband Hometown who celebrated their first number one single today turned up to show support for the campaign.
The Irish singers found out their happy news just a few minutes before going live on air with Nicky and Jenny.

Like the other star guests the band brought gifts for SVP.
Crowds have been gathering outside Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre to see their favourite celebrities.
Fans went crazy when Take Me To Church singer Hozier came in to have a chat.
The Wicklow musician was snapped carrying his gifts to the radiothon earlier today.

Speaking to Nicky Byrne and Jenny Greene, Hozier opened up about performing at the Victoria’s Secret Show.
“I’m so used to just playing on stage on my own, it was strange having people walk around me.
“I never expected everything to happen like this, it’s been a crazy year.”
Actress Aoibhinn Garrihy also popped into the charity event.

The Dubliner, who is best known for her role in Fair City, recently starred in BBC drama The Fall, alongside Jamie Dornan.
But it was singer Olly Murs who attracted the biggest crowds today.
The Troublemaker singer caused hundreds of fans to surround the shopping centre as he was interviewed on the Rick O’Shea show.

Meanwhile Ryan Tubridy arrived in style earlier this morning, when he was brought to the window on a sleigh with huskies.
The 2FM presenter was giddy as he was escorted to the live broadcast Santa-style.
Wearing a fur styled cosy jacket Ryan was pulled along Grafton Street before hosting his show live.
