PICS: Comedians are all laughs at Vodafone Comedy Festival launch

The festival takes place next month

Vodafone Ireland and Aiken Promotions have revealed the impressive line-up of acts set to perform at the Vodafone Comedy Festival 2019.

The festival will take place from the 25th-28th July at the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin, across five fully seated venues.

With over 100 Irish and international names taking to the stage, the festival promises to be a fun-filled weekend of outstanding comedy.

This year’s festival is full to the brim with home-grown talent, from household names such as Tommy Tiernan, Dylan Moran, Deirdre O’Kane, David O’Doherty, Foil, Arms & Hog, Alison Spittle, Neil Delamare, Jason Byrne to emerging acts like author, comedian and illustrator Aoife Dooley and online stars Enya Martin, Tony Cantwell & The 2 Johnnies.

As podcasts continue to explode in popularity, the festival will feature the best of Irish talent including Blindboy, as well as stand up from Deborah Frances-White, host of the international smash hit podcast The Guilty Feminist.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now, and are sold on a show-by-show basis. 20,000 people are expected to attend the four-day festival, which is strictly an over 18s event.
