Niall Horan has apologised to fans following technical difficulties at their London gig.
One Direction were playing the first of six shows in the 02 Arena when they suffered sound problems resulting in the Mullingar man having to say sorry.
“London .. Thank you for tonight .. First of 6 shows at that incredible arena … Sorry about the technical problems,” he tweeted to his 23.2 million followers.Â

The 22-year-old reportedly told fans live on stage that this was the first time it happened them.
“We’ve performed all over the world and this has never happened,” he said.Â
The worlds biggest band had to start their single Night Changes three times due to a fault and had to entertain fans while engineers sorted the problem.
1D are performing three sold gigs in Ireland in October.
