Nathan Carter and Mrs Browns Boys star Rory Cowan set for The Restaurant

Mrs Browns Boys regular Rory Cowan and country music star Nathan Carter are set to star in the new series of The Restaurant.

The Irish actor and country singer have showed off their kitchen skills in Marco Pierre White’s restaurant in Donnybrook, where the new series has been filmed.

Rory and Nathan are also joined on the show by fellow celebrity guest chefs including model-mum Pippa O’Connor, former Dragon’s Den star Sean Gallagher, weight-loss expert and TV personality Dr. Eva Orsmond and former footballer Kevin Kilbane.

The celebrities are all tasked with creating a top-class three course menu using the finest ingredients from Aldi along with complementary wines, also supplied by Aldi.

Maitre D John Healy will return for the show with Sean Moncrieff as the voice of the series, alongside new critic Marco Pierre White and returning resident critic Tom Doorley, who will both be joined by a guest critic each week.

The guest critic for Rory’s menu on the first episode is Ross Golden-Bannon as the new series will hit our screens next Wednesday, February 10 at 9pm on TV3.
