Markus Feehily SLAMS the online haters: 'They wouldn't have the balls to say it to my face'

Markus Feehily has spoken out about haters and revealed that he doesn’t like how people feel they have the right to speak about him in a ‘derogatory’ way just because he’s a celebrity.

The singer rose to fame in the world famous band Westlife and has followed with a solo career in music, having just released his debut solo album Fire.

Although Markus admits that he “doesn’t hate fame”, he revealed that the negative side of fame is that people feel free to speak about you in harsher ways than other people.

“I don’t like when people feel so free and entitled to go onto YouTube or whatever and f*****g lay into you left, right and centre.

“I don’t like it when people feel they have the right to speak about you in a derogatory way just because ‘You’re a pop star, sure that’s your job – get over it.’ I don’t think that’s fair,” he told Entertainment.ie.

Markus points out the fact that these ‘haters’ act cowardly by writing these terrible things online, but they would never say those things to your face.

“I feel like I’ve just as much right as anyone to be treated respectfully.”

There are things that people say to you on Twitter or under a YouTube video that they wouldn’t f*****g dream of saying to you in the street if they met you,” he added.
