Laura Whitmore QUITS I'm A Celebrity spin-off: 'It was a tough decision'

TV presenter Laura Whitmore has confirmed she’s leaving I’m Celebrity Get Me Out of Here…Now!

The Bray native, who has been fronting the ITV2 spin-off show for five years, has made the decided to hang up her jungle boots once and for all.

The MTV star took to her social media to announce the news to her followers.

This is a statement I released to the press yesterday… 5 incredible series! Sorry to say goodbye but been thinking about it for a long time and it’s time. Still my favourite show on the telly!! ???

“After 5 incredible series working with my extended I’m a Celeb family, I’ve taken the tough decision to hang up my jungle boots,” the statement said.

“It’s been such a wonderful experience but I feel it’s time to move on.

“I wish the team well and look forward to tuning in later this year as well as continuing to work with ITV on other shows.”

The news comes after she recently opened up about her future on the show.
