Irish stars Charlene McKenna and Johnny Ward are playing the waiting game as US Lifetime network didn’t pick up their new prehistoric drama series Clan of the Cave Bear.
Despite being rejected by the US network, it was reported the broadcaster could not reach an agreement with producers Fox 21 on the number of episodes to make for the series.
Fox 21 is now alleged to be talking to other interested parties about the series.

According to Variety, the Raw actress and the Love/Hate star play series regulars in the Ron Howard produced show.
Despite show woes, Charlene is currently in Dublin filming the Victorian crime drama series Ripper Street.
Meanwhile, Love/Hate actor Johnny is set to appear in new Irish film, Mammal.
