Irish superstars U2 and Hozier have been nominated in this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Going into it’s third year, the US awards celebrate the most popular acts which are determined by the iHeartRadio Chart and listeners.
Shortlisted in the Best Tour category, U2’s show iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE has been recognised alongside Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, Foo Fighters and Luke Bryan.

Meanwhile, Wicklow man Hozier is nominated for the Best New Artist award – facing stiff competition against Fetty Wap, Sam Hunt, Shawn Mendes and Tove Lo.
No stranger to the awards, the 26-year-old won iHeartRadio’s Best Alternative Rock Song of the Year award for Take Me to Church.
Leading the nominations is Taylor Swift with eight nods, The Weeknd with six while Adele, Drake, Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran have five each.
