First look: The X Factor groups are certainly excited to get Louis as a mentor

This is the moment this year’s stunned X Factor groups found out that Louis Walsh would be their mentor.

The pictures prove they were overjoyed to find out that the Mayo judge would be helping them through the competition.

One of the groups even includes Irish singer Chris Leonard who was placed into an eight-member boyband.

We also have an exclusive pic of Irish singer Orla Keogh who, we previously revealed ends up being dropped from the show after a cruel twist.

However the Tallaght singer is keeping her chin up after the twist.

“I had so much fun and met so many incredible people though and I’m really happy I got to experience it,” she said.

“Looking forward to the show airing, it’s gonna be absolutely hilarious.”
