Cork based bridal Atelier Caroline Matthews has revealed that she is in talks to design Lisa Cannon’s wedding dress.
The renowned bridal wear designer and fashionista has admitted she is hoping to create a custom gown for her big day.
Speaking to Goss.ie, the designer said “I am actually in talks with her at the moment, so fingers crossed I can get her.”
“I actually tweeted her on the way home from Leeds the other week and I just happened to see something she was doing, and I was like I’m a bridal designer,” she explained.

“She had been saying she hadn’t seen anything she wanted so I sent her some pictures and I’m going to try to see if I can come up to Dublin and get her to try on some dresses.”
Asking her if it will be custom made, the Leeds born designer told Goss.ie: “Yeah I say so, I’m hoping, fingers crossed.”
The fashion designer who has dressed her TV3 colleague’s Ashling O’Loughlin and Sinead Desmond is known for her bespoke vintage-inspired bridal designs.

“They’re very slim silhouettes, very great gatsby, art deco kind of inspired and I do a lot of fashion bridal so some of the pieces in the fashion (line) I turn into a full length dress for bridal” she said.
In an exclusive interview with Goss.ie, Lisa recently admitted she had only started planning for wedding after the new year.
