EXCLUSIVE! The Coronas open up about coming home for Christmas shows

The Coronas have revealed they’ll be heading home this festive season and fans will have a treat in store as they confirmed they will play a number of gigs over the Christmas period.

Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie at the launch of Outreach Moldova, the band admitted they’ll be working on their new album in the New Year.

“[We’ll be] home for Christmas but we’ll be playing one or two shows around Dublin that aren’t announced yet,” they revealed. The Coronas at Today FM studios

“In the New Year we’ll probably start looking at the next album and doing a bit of writing for that.

“So it’s all going well, we’re still getting away with it,” Danny told Goss.ie.

Meanwhile, the four-piece have had a busy year touring with their music and revealed playing Electric Picnic for the first time was a highlight.

“We played at Electric Picnic a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing,” Danny revealed.

“Yeah it was our first time playing there, It was really really fun.

“Yeah we’ve been there a couple of times as punters but that was our first time getting to play at it so it was cool – it went really well,” they told Goss.ie.
