Eoghan will be taking over from Colm Hayes who has been a part of the station for many years.

“It’s also a privilege to be handed the baton by the legendary Colm Hayes, one of the most recognisable voices in the country,” the 31-year-old added.

The Voice of Ireland co-host plans to bring some extra fun to his new slot along with some of his original poetry.

“I look forward to wooing the audience with my original beat poetry. Failing that, a socially reflective big time pumping, mischief making hot pot is order of the day,” he explained.
