Aspiring Irish singer Lorraine O’Reilly was left in shock when Emelie Sande joined her on stage for a duet.
The Cavan native was performing a set in London which included her own music and cover songs when the Next To You hitmaker entered the venue.
Towards the end of the night she sang Emelie Sandes Read All About It when the Scottish superstar got on to the stage with her.
“Not everyone might recognise her but I did immediately,” said an excited Lorraine as she recalled the moment Emelie entered Old Windsor Working Men’s Club in London last week.Â
Speaking to Breakfast Republic on 2fm, Lorraine added that the crowd erupted when she began singing the hit song which prompted Miss Sande to get up beside her  to sing and following the pitch perfect performance Emelie also sang Next To Me for the audience.
Lorraine who works in insurance in London made it to the live shows of The Voice UK last year.
