Daniel O’Donnell has made music history after it was revealed he has become the first recording artist in the UK chart to have charted at least one new album every year since 1988.
Having an unbroken 28-year streak, the country crooner’s latest album, The Best of Music And Memories, has helped him achieve unprecedented chart success.
The third highest new entry on this weeks’ UK Artist Albums Chart, his new release currently sits at number seven on the midweek chart.

The UTV Ireland star has entered the UK chart with more than 35 albums and has now gained 29 Top 30 albums over the course of his career.
His latest album is the former Strictly Come Dancing competitor’s 13th Top 30 album on the Demon label since 2003.
