Dáithí Ó Sé has revealed his close relationship to TV wife Maura Derrane works because they don’t spend every minute together.
The RTE star admitted the pair have only seen each other once over the summer at the Galway races.
“I met Maura at the Galway Races and I hadn’t seen her in about three months,” he said.

“We get along great and I think that’s why, because we’re not hanging out of each other’s pockets the whole time.”
“We’re very close as friends but we don’t be plaguing each other, calling each other, ” he told the Irish Mirror.
Meanwhile, The 39-year-old joked about his nosey nature being a huge part of his presenting career.

“If I wasn’t, or didn’t like to talk to people, I’d have no business doing the job I do.”
“The things that I rate about myself – I like to talk to people and I’m nosey,” he added.
Dáithí has previously admitted that the Rose of Tralee is the best job ever.
