Irish star Hozier has been inundated with phone calls from fans, after giving his mobile number out on Twitter.
The Take Me To Church singer decided to “treat” his fans, by giving out his US number.
Soon hundreds of fans were tweeting the singer begging him to answer the phone.
But most fans only got through to a busy line, as so many people tried to call him.
Hozier’s bandmate Alana Henderson posted a picture of the signer speaking to fans, so people would be assured that they were actually talking to Hozier himself.

“Just in case there were any doubters…photographic proof that @hozier is actually answering calls,” she wrote.
But even 2FM host Rick O’Shea couldn’t get through to the singer.
The presenter tried to call Hozier live on air during his show yesterday, but was directed straight to voicemail twice.
