Casting has begun for TV3’s first ever soap, and budding actors are so desperate to be auditioned, they’ve been camping outside.
Casting Director Louise Kiely told budding actors that only 500 people could be seen at the Dublin auditions today.

Last night a camper van showed up with an actor making sure he was ahead of the others, and this morning people were still camped out.
Sharing photos on their Twitter page, TV3 wrote:
“We’ve got people camping out at the open casting of TV3’s new soap.”

And after rumours that Mr Ireland winner Karl Bowe has being lined up for the series, the model was spotted in the long queue.
Xpose headed to the casting day to interview budding actors and spoke to Karl about his hopes to land a role.
New cast? Leigh Arnold is rumoured to be in the series
The new soap is set to go up against RTE’s Fair City, and is set in a North side Dublin coastal town.
So far no big names have been revealed, but Leigh Arnold is rumoured to have landed a role in the series after telling Goss.ie she has an “exciting new” TV show.
