“I’ve certainly got it wrong in my own life and relied too much upon alcohol and other things to get me through something.
“And that was a diversion in my own life that I wish I hadn’t taken.
Realising he had a problem, Adam sought help for his mental health struggles and has become a much happier person for it.
“Eventually, I just got fed up of feeling fed up,” he explained.

“At the root of addiction, certainly in my case, was a mental issue, it’s how I approach the day.
“I was able to get help to revise my thinking and turn that around. So I’m a much happier bunny now.
Adam was promoting the Mind Your Selfie mental health campaign where people are encouraged to post a selfie to social media with the hashtag #MindYourSelfie.
