Sharon Horgan is set to join forces with Father Ted creator Graham Linehan on a new sitcom.
Although in it’s early development stages, the new project, Motherland, has already been signed up by the BBC.
According to the Herald, the new series is a “light-hearted exploration of the daily trials and tribulations of middle-class motherhood”.

Expected to be shown on BBC2 later this year, the sitcom involves write Graham Linehan’s wife Helena Serafinowicz and comedian Holly Walsh.
It’s a busy period for the Catastrophe star, who has branched into producing her own material more, as she works on new HBO series Divorce, which stars Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker.
