Adele visits seriously ill young fan in Belfast

Adele has taken the time out of her busy tour schedule to visit a seriously ill 12-year-old fan in Belfast.

The young fan, named Rebecca Gibney who suffers from cerebral palsy and epilepsy, was visited by Adele at her bedside after her mother Tracy launched an online campaign to get the singer to record a message for her daughter.

To the mother’s delight, Adele got her message but wanted to do more – so she rang Tracy and told her she was on her way over.

Rebecca’s mother couldn’t express her appreciation, by tweeting: “I am so blessed and thankful that Adele came to my home today.”

According to the BBC, Tracy said: “It’s amazing. I’ll never forget it. And I do know that when Rebecca passes away she did get her dream come true.

“It’s made me feel like I’m the best mummy in the world which I never felt. Adele told me I was the best mummy in the world too.”

Giving back: Adele has been making dreams comes true in Ireland

Adele didn’t stop making dreams come true on our Emerald Isle as she sorted an Irish fan out with tickets for her Dublin show – and he has a very familiar face.

Voice of Ireland 2015 winner Patrick James, who found himself ticketless for Adele’s Dublin gig, tweeted Adele that he has been following her for years and he has never missed one of her Dublin shows, and to his surprise – she sorted him out!

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “I’ve followed @Adele since MySpace & have seen her live every time she’s played Dublin, but don’t have a ticket for this weekend.”

All we can say is, what a legend!
