Musician Roisin O has admitted she was “honoured” to perform at the Oscar Wilde Party in Santa Monica.
Hosted by Star Wars and Star Trek director J.J. Abrams, the Dubliner revealed she is a “huge” fan of the film maker so was excited to perform at the event.
“[I was] really honoured actually, you know Snow Patrol are the big band and I suppose I was picked as the up-and-coming band to represent the Irish,” she said.
“It’s really lovely, a great opportunity and crazy to be here really. It’s all a bit surreal.”
When asked if she was hoping to crack America while she was in LA, the music star joked “now that I’m here, I might as well.”
However, the brunette beauty revealed she will be releasing some new music at home while trying to impress US music bosses.
“I’m going to be bringing out a new single at home in the next couple of weeks. I have a show here [Los Angeles] next week, with some industry people coming along so hopefully some stuff will come of that,” she smiled.
