Forget the sleep-in rollers, curling tongs and the tissue paper you used to curl your hair before an Irish dancing Feis because apparently tampons are all you need (Yes, you heard that correctly).
Not that we already spend enough money on them for our time of the month but beauty vloggers have been raving about the product for it’s curling uses while saving your tresses from heat damage. Bizarre.
A totally nuts idea, beauty vlogger GlitterForever17 uploaded the video to YouTube on how to create ringlet curls with the cotton product.
Goss HQÂ have to admit we were surprised how good the curl came out but the technique does take four hours or more to set – so you wouldn’t want to be in a rush, period.
Nifty Breland also recorded a similar video utilising sanitary pads – admitting the technique is good for soaking up excess oil.
Yeah, we don’t think we’ll be trying this beauty hack out just yet…
