Former UFC fighter Cathal Pendred has revealed he is trying his hand at breaking Hollywood.
Vying to become the next Jason Statham, the Dubliner admitted he’s hopes to become the next big action star.
“I’m also doing a bit of acting as well – it’s something I’ve always been interested in,” she said.

“I’ve done some small parts here and there but now that I have a bit of extra time and don’t have to focus everything on a fight I’m doing auditions”.
Speaking on 2fm’s Breakfast Republic, the 28-year-old insisted his main focus would be on action movies.
A number of former fighters such as Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock have made the successful transitions into screen stars with the former UFC star admitting: “that’s the way I see a way for me to get in”.
