Another year, another fashion trend and although many fall by the waist side, there is one that is grabbing our attention at Goss HQ.
Not just for the catwalk but for your everyday wardrobe, Lampshading is the new look our style radar is loving this 2016.
Made popular by celebs like Kate Moss, Vogue Williams and the whole Kardashian Klan, the trend involves teaming a pair of over-the-knee boots with a long, oversized shirt or jumper – allowing a few inches of skin on show between your boots and dress.
Creating a comfortable but stylish outfit, the trend first made an appearance on A/W15 runways hiding the female figure, opting for a more relaxed silhouette – emulating the mod look of 60’s.
A perfect look this January with a pair of tights to cover up your pins or perhaps you dare to bare, either way it’s one outfit option we’re loving.

Irish fashionista Vogue Williams tackled the Lampshade trend in an all grey look.
