The Top 25 Places To Drink Prosecco In Dublin

While some prefer an ice-cold beer on a summer’s day – there’s really nothing like a cool glass of Prosecco.

Forget your champagne and white wines, Prosecco is where it’s at and there are so many places to enjoy a glass (or bottle) in Dublin.

We’ve done all the hard work and put together a list of the top places to enjoy celebs favourite beverage.

Add in a strawberry and watch the bubbles before sipping it down.

If you’re feeling all fancy then you need to head to The Shelbourne for a tipple.

The infamous five-star hotel is one of Dublin’s most cherished landmarks – and just wait until you see inside.

Yes they have every drink you can think of and a range of amazing wines, but there’s nothing better than sitting in The Saddle Room, sipping Prosecco and watching the world go by.

3. Lillie’s Bordello

If you haven’t had some Prosecco in Lille’s Bordello then you haven’t lived.

Every Irish celebrity (and any star who has visited Ireland) has definitely had a few glasses here.

Located right off Grafton Street, Lillie’s has had the likes of Rihanna, Bono, Michael Fassbender and One Direction all through their doors.

Let’s be honest if you end up in Lillie’s you’re there for the night – so treat yourself to a while bottle why don’t you.

4. Hugo’s

Okay back to being very fancy and sophisticated – Hugo’s is a renowned wine bar and have some amazing Prosecco.

Located on Merrion Row, the venue is tucked away nicely and you’ll feel very spoiled in there.

You can enjoy live jazz and you can treat yourself to a pre-theatre menu Monday to Friday.

5. House

House on Leeson Street has become hugely popular in the last two years – thanks to stars like Rory McIlroy popping in.

This is the place to be at the moment, especially during the summer as you can take advantage of their stunning garden area.

We recently had the Goss.ie 2nd Birthday party there and we indulged in some lovely Prosecco ourselves…

 

6. Residence Members Club

If you want to feel super classy then a glass of Prosecco in Dublin’s top members club is for you.

Located very close to The Shelboure, you’ll find top business owners in here, celebrities and anyone with a coveted membership in here.

From their quaint garden to their piano bar – there are plenty of areas to enjoy some bubbles here.

7. Super Miss Sue

You wouldn’t immediately think Prosecco when you think seafood but it totally works in Super Miss Sue.

They do some fantastic brunches here from 11am – 4pm on the weekends and you can get yourself some gorgeous Prosecco.

Picture yourself indulging in some bubbly on a Sunday morning alongside a stunning brunch….

8. Krystle

Another venue you just have to have a glass of Prosecco in is Krystle.

You’ll leave the celebrity hotspot not only with some gorgeous bubbles in your system but also lots of gossip as the who’s who of Dublin are always here.

Head to the Penthouse and treat yourself to a full bottle (you know you want to).

9. Balfes

Balfe’s is becoming very popular, and their new champagne pops make it that much easier to love.

The venue is at the front of The Westbury Hotel and is the perfect place for a glass of Prosecco with a strawberry on a summers day.

If you feel like something cooler, you’ll have to try the world’s first alcohol-based Champagne, Bellini and Moscow Mule ice popsicles.

10. L’Ecrivain

If you want an incredible meal to go alongside your Prosecco then L’Ecrivain is the place for you.

Located on Baggot Street, the prestigious eatery is everything you would imagine it to be.

Book a table, bring some friends or head their on a date and feel very lavish altogether.

11. Bach 16

This is the perfect tapas and wine bar – and yes you can get some amazing Prosecco here too.

Located on Bachelor’s Walk, the cute eatery has a huge selection of wines and Prosecco to die for.

Sit inside or watch the world go by in their outdoor area (and dear God order the cheese board).

12. Chelsea Drug Store

One of Dublin’s newer venues Chelsea Drug Store is very cool (almost too cool).

Their menu is on a tiny key ring and their bar bites are yummy.

A glass of Prosecco is only €7.50 and well worth it.

13. No.5 Vinoteca

Another recently launched venue for our list is No.5 Vinoteca.

They just launched their Prosecco and Sangria Bottomless Brunch – so you have no excuses.

For €50 you can get 4 tapas dishes and an open tab for Sangria, Prosecco, Wine AND Beer.

14.San Lorenzos

We already love this place for their outstanding brunch menus – but their Prosecco is on point too.

Their infamous brunch on the weekends include Prosecco cocktails so you can mix it up.

15. Sophie’s

It’s worth going to Sophie’s for the view alone – but the drinks are gorgeous too.

You can choose from a list of cocktails and everything you can think of but a glass of bubbly is needed when you’re up here.

If you’re heading to a show in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre – then pop into HQ for a tipple.

The New York inspired venue has yummy food and also an outside area for those sunny summer days.

There’s always a great buzz around Grand Canal Square – and what better way to enjoy it then with a glass of bubbles.

17. Fade Street Social

If you’re looking for a roof-top area on a sunny day then Fade Street Social is a great place.

Dylan McGrath’s venue has always been hugely popular but even more so during the summer.

Grab your mates and treat yourself to some Prosecco here.

The Merrion

Another very lavish place to enjoy a glass or bottle (let’s be honest) is in The Merrion Hotel.

The prestigious hotel has had some major celebrities stay there including Naomi Campbell, Justin Bieber, and most recently Cameron Diaz and Nicole Ritchie.

Wear your most elegant outfit here and feel like royalty for a day.

19. Marco Pierre White’s

With venues in both Donnybrook and on Dawson Street both places are top quality.

This is the perfect place to go on a date or have a dinner with your friends and relax in the outdoor areas.

Enjoy a fantastic meal with some bubbles in both places.

20. Avenue By Nick Munier

Masterchef star Nick Munier’s new place has already become a huge hit.

Not only receiving rave reviews for their Italian menu but also their interior design.

This is the perfect place to chill out with some bubbly and indulge in some food too.

21. Fallon & Byrne

You can’t go wrong with Fallon & Byrne (for anything).

They have the most amazing food, and shopping area but it’s their Wine Cellar that we really love.

Head down their for a glass of bubbly and enjoy the dark ambiance (PS the cheese boards here are gorgeous).

22. The Mint Bar, The Westin

The Mint Bar

Another hotel we really love (for the architecture alone) is The Westin Hotel.

You can count Britney Spears as one of the stars that stayed in the luxury venue.

Check out their Mint Bar where you can enjoy some Prosecco in some wonderful surroundings.

23. The Morrison Hotel

The Morrison Hotel have really revamped their restaurant and as well as tasty food they have an amazing drinks menu.

They are becoming well-known for their cocktails, thanks to Lewis Newman winning Best Front Of House at the Lovin Dublin Awards this year.

We love the Prosecco here and make sure to have a proper look around the hotel – as they have lyrics from Irish artists written all over their walls.

24. Platform 61

They’re just celebrating their first birthday this week – but Platform 61 have already made a big impact.

They were in the news this week for creating a special Donald Trump cocktail – but it’s the Prosecco we really love.

Like most of the places on this list these guys host an incredible brunch over the weekends too.

25. The Bailey

Last but not least, there’s nothing better than sitting outside The Bailey and having bottle of bubbles with your mates.

This is the best place for people watching and you’re bound to bump into someone you know sitting here.
