Katherine Heigl is beyond excited to be on Suits.
The American actress joined the series this year after Meghan Markle and Patrick J Adams departed from the show.
Speaking to E! News on the law firm set, Katherine said, “It’s pretty cool, I’m not going to lie.”
The actress added, “It’s a real blessing of sort of where I’ve gotten to in my career, but it also felt really good to take initiative, to sort of reach for what I wanted and put it out there and take that chance.”
Katherine’s co-stars also couldn’t be happier for her to join the show.
“When someone comes in with support and love and like feeling grateful to be a part of this, that just will allow all of us as an ensemble to sing, you know?” said Gabriel Macht.
“From a behind the scenes point of view, it’s great to have her here,”Sarah Rafferty said. “She just jumped right in. She understands the rhythm of Suits, she’s seen all the episodes.”
Heigl will play a mysterious character named Samantha Wheeler, who reportedly looks like a force to be reckoned with.
The Knocked Up star will hopefully mend fans hearts as viewers of the hit show, are already missing Meghan and Patrick’s characters.
Meghan announced she was leaving the show last year as she was set to marry Prince William, Patrick also departed as he felt it was his time to leave.
