Tyson Fury reveals he wants to train with Conor McGregor

World-renowned boxer Tyson Fury has revealed that he wants to train with Conor McGregor.

The Gypsy King who is undefeated in 28 professional fights says that the Dublin star has offered to train him, if he ever wanted to get into MMA.

Referring to the father-of-two as an “absolute fantastic fight man”, Tyson Fury says he’s coming to Dublin and taking him up on his offer of some training.

Speaking on Today with Sean O’Rourke on RTE Radio One, the 31-year-old told stand in host Miriam O’Callaghan: “He’s [Conor] offered to train me if I ever want to go into MMA. What better training would I ever have than the Notorious Conor McGregor?”

“So yeah, I’ll be looking forward to training with Conor McGregor. We’re going to get it all planned in and I should be over to Dublin quite soon.”

“I’ll definitely be coming over for a training session, that’s for sure. 100%. I look forward to it,” he explained.

“I enjoy new challenges. I’d been MMA training last week with Darren Turnover in Liverpool, another UFC star and I really enjoy the new challenge so,” he said of training in MMA.

“I don’t know where or when but it’s definitely going to happen because after I finish me boxing career, I quite fancy me hand at MMA as well.”

It comes as Coach Kavanagh has closed off his gym in Inchicore, “due to reasons”, sparking rumours that Conor McGregor is set to begin training for his return to the Octagon.
