Irish actress Saoirse Ronan is the cover star of the winter edition of Dazed magazine.
Saoirse stuns in an eerie and ethereal shoot for the creative mag.
Saoirse rocked a very different look than usual for the fashion spread, donning a mix of contemporary and vintage-inspired pieces with nods to feminism, Sex and the City, and the 1920s.
Posting to Instagra, Dazed shared a snippet from their interview with the Irish star.
In it, Saoirse declared that she adored playing the role of Jo in her upcoming remake of Little Women.
“There was no one else I understand as fully as I did Jo. She needed to be a tornado, this bloody twister coming into the room and messing everything up a bit” she said.
“As she steps into the shoes of America’s most beloved literary heroine in @littlewomenmovie, #SaoirseRonan talks family connections with on-screen mum @lauradern for the first cover story of our winter 2019 #FamilyTies issue,” wrote the magazine.
For the family ties issue, Saoirse discussed her own family traditions for the festive season.
“The only tradition we had was to stay in our pyjamas all day! My best friend, Christopher, who we used to live close to, would come and visit us in the morning with his parents,” she said.
“Then they would go off and visit their relatives and that was sort of all we did. It was just the three of us and so it was always kind of intimate at Christmas.”
