Rita Ora reportedly just “wanted to be friends” with Brooklyn Beckham.
The pair were reportedly spotted on a dinner date and holding hands in 2017 and it has since been reported that they were also texting each other flirty messages and even kissed at the time.
A source has now told the Mirror that while it has been reported that there was a short romance between the 19-year-old and Rita, the singer wanted to be nothing more than friends with the model.
The source also claimed that Brooklyn tried to get in contact with the 28-year-old’s family and friends, so that he could introduce himself to them.
“She is happy to be just friends and has always been polite especially as she’s now a neighbour,” the insider said, as the singer previously revealed that she lives beside the famous family.
Victoria and David were allegedly not happy about their son’s closeness with Rita, as a source told The Sun that they were “pretty furious” about the situation.
