Offset breaks silence after being publicly rejected by Cardi B during festival performance

Offset has broken his silence, after he was publicly rejected by Cardi B during her performance at the Rolling Loud festival.

The rapper surprised his ex over the weekend, when he appeared on-stage during her performance, with a sign made out of roses which said: “Take Me Back Cardi.”

The 27-year-old’s public attempt to win Cardi back did not go down well though, as he said: “I just wanna tell you I’m sorry, bro, in person, in front of the world. I love you. Whatever I gotta do to show you that, I’m there”, before he put down his microphone and had a short discussion with the 25-year-old and left the stage.

Twitter

The Migos rapper has now spoken out about his actions, as he took to Twitter to say: “All of my wrongs have been made public, i figure It’s only right that my apologies are made public too.”

“A n***a was just trying …..thank god I ain’t got no balloons sheeesh,” he joked.

Offset’s tweet comes after Cardi defended him twice since his public attempt at winning her back.

The rapper originally took to Instagram Live to tell fans not to bash her ‘baby father’ online following the festival, and the mother-of-one has since returned to Insta to post another video defending Offset.

“I know I see a lot of people bashing me because I’m defending my baby’s father, they think I’m gonna get back together with him. I’m not saying that I’m gonna get back together with him, I just don’t like that bashing online thing,” the 25-year-old began.

“You just saw Pete Davidson was talking about how he don’t want to be on this earth because mad people be coming at him every single day.”

“I wouldn’t want my baby father to have that feeling because of millions of people be bashing him every day, that’s a nasty feeling and I wouldn’t want that.”

The rapper went on to say that she could meet the most “perfect” man, but that he would never love Kulture as much as Offset does.
