Keith Duffy makes sly dig at Westlife as he claims Boyzone would never do a reunion tour as they have ‘respect and dignity’

Keith Duffy may have just made a sly dig at Westlife, after he claimed that Boyzone would never do a reunion tour because they want to finish with “respect and dignity.”

The 44-year-old is set to embark on Boyzone’s farewell tour at the end of the month with fellow bandmates, Ronan Keating, Michael Graham and Shane Lynch.

The boyband are set to release their final album on 16th November and Keith has stated that the band have no intention of ever doing a reunion.

“We have earned our stripes and I would never want to see us going back like that. I take my hat off to the other bands doing it because they are out there grafting and trying to pay the bills and make money,” he told The Mirror.

“We want to go out on top, with a bit of respect and dignity, and not dilute it,” the father-of-two said.

Keith joined with Westlife’s Brian McFadden in 2016 to create their own group, Boyzlife, where the pair sing hits from the boybands on their tour.

After Westlife announced their comeback last month, Keith said that it was “unfortunate” that the band didn’t ask Brian to join them for their reunion tour.
