Justin Bieber has revealed he is “60% Irish”.
The worldwide pop star took to his Instagram stories to reveal the news to fans.
The singer was promoting Conor McGregor’s whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve when he shared the revelation.
Sharing a photo of his dad Jeremy Bieber holding a bottle of the infamous whiskey, Justin then gave a “shout out” to Ireland.
“Just found out I’m like 60 percent Irish,” he wrote on his stories.
“Shout out Ireland,” he added.
Justin has been a big supporter of Conor ever since his 2016 fight against Nate Diaz.
He event came out in support of the Dublin star after the now infamous bus incident in New York last year, with Justin saying at the time: “He will be fine, we all make mistakes”.
After seeing Justin’s post, Conor revealed that the singer is currently training under Conor’s McGregor fast programme.
He also said: “The Irish runs deep with the Bieber’s.”
Justin is a top young man!
Training hard on the @McGregorFast program also.
Real excited to see the results and hear his latest music this summer.
Thank you @justinbieber and father @JeremyBieber!
The Irish runs deep with the Bieber’s.
Shoutout my young bro Johner Bieber also. https://t.co/bJJWDqWRPR— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 20, 2019
Justin has always made an impact on his Irish trips, from being spotted playing basketball in Dublin’s bushy park, to being surrounded by fans in Grafton Street.
And he famously turned up to a concert after party in hotspot Xico.
