Janel Parrish has revealed that her father-in-law, Buck Long, was killed by a drunk driver just weeks before she married his son.
Buck, who was 74 at the time, died on August 26 – not long before Janel married her partner Chris in Hawaii on September 8.
The actress, best known for her role in Pretty Little Liars, shared the heartbreaking news in an emotional post on Instagram.
She wrote: “A few weeks ago, we got the awful news that my now father in law was tragically killed by a drunk driver on his beloved Sunday motorcycle ride.”

Janel included some sweet photos of Buck – including a snap of him giving a toast at their engagement party, and another photo of him on his beloved motorbike.
According to MADD, Buck was killed after he was allegedly struck by an 18-year-old drunk driver.
The suspect was reportedly apprehended by police, after authorities found the driver in a ravine.
