Geordie Shore alum Gary Beadle and his long-term girlfriend Emma McVey announced this week that they are expecting their second child.
Gary took to social media to announce the news over the weekend. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Chester, in January of 2018.
Emma faced a wave of criticism during her first pregnancy for her slim physique.
The mum has posted her first bump update to her Instagram, and told her followers that she will not allow the criticism she received during her first pregnancy hold her back from sharing her experience.
“This was my 12 week bump update – no not much of a bump yet but definitely a little more round, and I’m sure I’ll pop a lot earlier second time around!”
“I really regretted not documenting my bump in my pregnancy with Chester, more because I just couldn’t be bothered with the grief I got for being so small (crazy when you look at the size of him now )”.
“But I’ve decided no matter what size bump I have this time I’ll definitely be taking photos to look back on!”
The caption accompanied a snap of Emma holding her son, who is not one and a half, and a peg board reading “12 Weeks, 17 Months,” referring to her immanent arrival and baby Chester.
The couple announced their second pregnancy on Instagram, with a sweet snap of Chester wearing a babygrow emblazoned with the words “I’m going to be a big brother.”
Gary wrote: “So nice to finally let everyone know baby no 2 will be with us later this year and I am SOOOOOOOO EXCITED Chester changed my life and now to give him a brother or sister is just amazing I was so nervous with Chester but now it’s just excitement.”
