Last week, Irish fans of Taylor Swift were delighted by the news that she’s bringing her Reputation Tour to Croke Park in 2018.
However, their delight has now been turned into disappointment – as the ticket prices are much higher than anticipated.
Taking to Twitter last night, a fan wrote, “Taylor Swift Dublin prices: Regular seating: €74.50-€144.00, VIP snake pit: €664.00, Gold Hot Ticket: €721.65, Silver Hot Ticket: €664, Bronze Hot Ticket: €606.20, Lower Bowl Hot Ticket: €577.35.”
“These are all official straight from the Ticketmaster site and don’t include fees,” they added.

Fans were quick to express their outrage at the ticket prices, admitting that they wouldn’t be able to afford the pricey tickets.
Although the fan claimed that she got those prices from Ticketmaster’s official website, the prices have since been taken down – leading people to believe that they may be changed, due to fan’s obvious disappointment.

Imagine paying almost a grand to stand in Croke Park for 2 hours for Taylor Swift & it’s not even meet and greet or anything. Some of the most exploitive prices I’ve ever seen. Just thinking about that amount of money absolutely thrown away like that depresses me. https://t.co/u7UKtJMgbZ

Is Taylor Swift actually charging over €700 for good seats and some exclusive merch for the Croke Park gig?? This is fan exploitation at it’s finest, especially when she’s aware that she has a very young fan base

@taylornation13 @scottborchetta please can you do something about the prices of these tickets. Nobody will be able to afford them & Croke park will not sell out. I am shocked & I find it appalling that you think it’s acceptable to charge up to €722 for a ticket. Very unfair.

Absolutely devastated with the prices of Taylor Swift’s gig at Croke Park. I adore the woman and always defend her down to the ground – but I literally work a 40 hour week and an okay-ish seat would cost me over a months rent. How people will afford to go is beyond me.
