Dancing With The Stars judges Loraine Barry and Brian Redmond have revealed whether they think Nicky Byrne will be back for the show’s next season.
The TV presenter usually co-hosts the show alongside Jennifer Zamparelli, but ever since he reunited with his Westlife bandmates – his future on DWTS has been up in the air.
Earlier this year, Nicky quit his popular radio show on RTÉ 2fm so he could go on tour with Westlife, and following the success of the band’s comeback – it looks like he’ll be focusing more on his music career in the future.
When asked whether they think Nicky will return, DWTS judges Loraine said: “I hope so!”
Brian then added: “I mean, from what I’ve read and from what I understand I think Nicky certainly wants to be back, I could be wrong, but from what I’ve heard and from what I’ve heard Nicky say is that he wants to remain part of the Dancing With The Stars brand and part of that family.”
“And you know, January, February, March – they’re not always the best time to be doing outdoor gigs around the place,” Brian joked, before adding, “I’m sure he’ll have it planned in!”
