Eminem very publicly ended years of addiction to prescription pills back on April 20, 2008.
In 2009, after five years out of the music industry, which included a 2007 methadone overdose, he then released his album Relapse.
The same week Eminem became 10 years sober he took to Coachella for the second time, headlining alongside Beyonce.
