Danny Cipriani is SUING Lizzie Cundy’s book publishers – after she detailed their alleged fling in her memoir

The former WAG claimed she had a raunchy fling with the rugby player

Danny Cipriani is taking legal action against Lizzie Cundy’s book publishers, after she detailed their alleged fling in her memoir, ‘Tales From The Red Carpet’.

In the book, the 51-year-old claims she secretly romped with the rugby player following her split from former Chelsea and Spurs footballer Jason Cundy in 2010.

Lizzie said their alleged relationship was “dangerously exciting” as they would “regularly meet up at hotels or at his mum’s house with his mum still not knowing.”

She also claimed that Danny once smuggled her into the England rugby team hotel at Pennyhill Park, and said she “hid behind a plant pot” so his teammates would’t see her leave the next morning.

According to the MailOnline, Danny’s lawyers have now filed for a gagging order against Soho Friday Media, Lizzie’s publishers, as he never gave consent for the material to be published.

The sports star believes the book breaches his right to privacy and data protection rules, and he’s seeking up to £50,000 in damages.

In a statement, Soho Friday Media said: “Lizzie was extremely nice and complimentary about Danny and is surprised at his reaction as she only told the half of it. We are now dealing with it with our lawyers.”

And in her own statement, Lizzie said: “I was surprised to hear Danny wants to sue my publishers for saying he was good in bed. I was very complimentary and kind in my book about Danny. We had great chemistry.”

“I helped him tremendously and he got me through a tough divorce. It’s in the hands of lawyers now who have all the proof but as Danny was such a big part of my life at one time I couldn’t not mention him in my book.”

“I only told half of the story as we were together on and off for four years. I only have nice things to say about him and always will,” she added.
